I'd like to get some feedback on doing some Be2camp awards - basically, recognising individuals, organisations and products that use Web 2.0 by people in the built environment (architecture, engineering, construction, property, FM) sector.

For a start, is this a "good idea"?
If so, any suggestions of what we could call them?
And perhaps getting into the detail, I would welcome suggestions on what categories to include (don't want too many or we'd be handing out gongs all night!) and how to organise the decision-making.

As well as posting in this forum, I will be setting up a Google Wave (invites available - email me) - and will try to ensure some crossover between the two discussions.

Great idea Paul. It gets my vote.

Will give 'what would we call them?' some thought.

ditto with the categories, but think there should be one that recognises 'evangelists' of the new media movement.

Like the googlewave idea too - it'll give me a chance to have a play with it.
