thinkBIM is back with its Spring series in 2014 - Leeds: Wednesday 2 April, 13:30-17:30

The latest series is focussed around BIM Construction and Assembly with more fantastic speakers who will give their expert opinion and real life experience of the advantages BIM can deliver during the pre-construction and construction phase. ThinkBIM continues to provide thought leadership around the cutting edge of BIM in the UK and beyond and is pleased to offer another event for construction professional already working in BIM environments.

Half-day Conference (supported by Tekla and Graphisoft):

This year we will hear from keynote speakers on maximising the use of BIM to deliver better outcomes through the use of offsite manufacture. Richard Ogden of Buildoffsite will outline the benefits of BIM and Offsite manufacturing while Rob Francis and Jaimie Johnson will provide case studies from two diverse schemes in New York and St Petersburg. Jaimie will also provide an update from the Government Task Group.

Delegates will:

  • Gain an understanding of some of the current issues and benefits of BIM in the construction and assembly stage.
  • Participate in two hands on workshops discussing the use of BIM for offsite manufacturing and BIM on site for contractors and their supply chain.
  • Meet other like-minded BIM users and share valuable lessons learnt in an open exchange environment.
  • Experience a lively Pecha Kucha showcase covering different aspects of BIM Construction and Assembly.
