About Me
Managing Director and co-founder of SmartBuilder Software Ltd (Dublin and London) www.smartbuilder1. The company sells a web based tablet and PC system for use in construction, engineering and infrastructure. This system cuts the cost of managing sub-contractors by cutting out time consuming report writing after inspections, provides access to information on site, provides an audit trail, helps improve quality through powerful server side reporting and has an innovative feature for tracking delays against Programme and assigning responsibilities. It has a rapid, self service set-up on new projects and users are free to move "licenses" between projects.

No May Be2camp event planned at the moment. Next event is likely to be in Manchester - exact date to be decided, followed by another event in Birmingham (probably in July). These are likely to be more popular, being city-based, with the Birmingham area in particular home to a lively community of Web 2.0-savvy people.

The content of most Be2camp events only begins to fall into place in the final 2-3 weeks, but if we can get a good response to our event themes, I think the Manchester and Birmingham events promise to be really interesting. No dates (yet), but as soon as they are finalised, you will get word via the Be2camp e-newsletter.

Hope you are well (PS: have had some email correspondence from an Australian outfit doing mobile apps for construction : All Over Geo -

Hi, Peter. Good to have you here (enjoyed our London meeting earlier this month).

We are currently on a drive to get more people to add a photo of themselves to their profile, so if you can do that it would be great.

If you have any queries about Be2camp, please let me know.

Best wishes - Paul
