Gordon O-Neill of Iota Media (he's @iota_gordon on Twitter, by the way) has joined the speakers roster for the 2013 Be2Talks and will be talking about story-telling on 25 September (book your seats now).
Story-telling is often used as another term for lying but story-telling lies at the heart of who we are and what we do. Every week we tell stories, if not to other people to ourselves. Stories lie at the heart of all communication, storytelling in its various forms not only enriches our lives but enhances how we view the environment in which we live. We all have a story to tell and we are all, whether we know it or not, story-tellers. The environment we create and inhabit are part of the story: a story that involves all who inhabit and interact with their environment for good or bad.
Gordon O'Neill is an award winning director/cameraman and has worked on diverse projects from filming behind the scenes at a boudoir fashion shoot to the redevelopment of ex US Air Force homes. For much of his working life he was a story teller. As a Baptist Minister he served several churches in the UK and spoke to audiences around the world from groups of three (including his wife) to several thousands.
